about me
I always wanted to be a writer. I once even took up residence on a beach in Goa to write my first novel – and the attempt lasted about 45 minutes... My time finally came in 2010 when my mother was ill and I wrote a story for her to read that was set to become ONE STEP TOO FAR.
Failing to even get an agent, in 2013 I eventually set up my own publishing company to launch my novels. My books have since gone on to be published in 19 languages in over 60 countries.
My third novel, THE HONEYMOON, has been optioned by Lindsay Lohan to be made into a film and I have been writing the screenplay with her. I am also currently in talks to make WHEN WE WERE FRIENDS into a TV series.
I have now (finally!) finished my sixth book, one that is very close to my heart. More news on that soon.

I am a newish empty nester, and live in North London with my husband and dog.

WHEN WE WERE FRIENDS
2015

It had always been the six of them.

Since they met at university twenty-five years ago, they’d faced everything together. Break-ups and marriages, motherhood and death. They were closer than sisters; the edges of their lives bled into each other.

But that was before the night of the reunion. The night of exposed secrets and jagged accusations. The night when everything changed.

When lonely Nicole from over the road confides her own secret heartache to Layla, the two women form an unlikely bond – until one of them attracts the attention of their mysterious new neighbour.
The only person to sense something dangerous about Andy is busybody Joan. But will her suspicions bring her more than she bargains for?
As the past catches up with the residents of Hope Close, it becomes clear that the intriguing new neighbour isn’t the only one with something to hide…
